I typically feel customization is a lot of work but it took just minutes. The customization options provided are pretty good and needed. But Cleverman wins because of its remarkably simple but very effective applying tool. I didn't ever need to use the gloves.

I have tried a good number of other products and sometimes came away with a skin rash, burning, and color that was less than natural looking. Color looks very natural. (Note) You need to know how to apply it properly. Meaning a strategic process if you will. Product last me a long time, because of the strategic process and I have a short beard. I have very little irritation which is hard to come by with these type of products. I’ve tried other products and none were able to apply color to my beard. My hair is thin and sparse in places. Cleverman worked! I was reticent about mixing the product, but mixing was easy with the kit. The applier brush worked really well - kind of like a mascara brush. I used my finger with a glove on to make sure the product hit the sides and other sparse areas. I only had to leave it on for 10 minutes and wash off was fast and easy in the shower. The color lasts for a week or two, depending how often I trim my beard. I’ve used it a few times now with consistent results. It shaves several years off my looks with less gray showing. I’m very happy with the results and the relative little effort it takes to get them.
